Takuya is one of opinion leader in Japanese engineer community. He started his career at Digital Equipment as sales support engineer. He later joined Microsoft and led the development of the international versions of Windows and managed 50+ team in Korea and Japan.

In 2006, he joined Google and served as engineering manager of the Chrome Web Platform team. He oversaw Chrome, Chrome OS, Google Japanese IME. He has long worked on standardization and the developer community, including infrastructure, security, and web technologies. Takuya evangelized product management and engineering management in Japan.

He also has start-up experience and became advisors to many Japanese start-ups, especially for CTO. He became independent in 2017 and established Tably in 2019. BS in Engineering.
